The purpose of the National Diamondback Pharmacy Alumni Council ( National FAMU Pharmacy Alumni Council of FAMU College of Pharmacy) is to provide an entity that promotes the goals of the (College of Pharmacy) , The National Diamondback Pharmacy Alumni Council (National Pharmacy Alumni Council) , and the profession of Pharmacy. These goals include, but are not limited to:

• Providing financial support for the College of Pharmacy students and program.
  
  
• Providing community health education.
  
  
• Identifying and recruiting qualified students and/or staff for FAMU in general, the College of Pharmacy specifically.
  
  
• Improving interaction among the members of the profession and its friends. 
  
  
• Increasing membership in other national, state, and local health associations (ASHP, APHA, FSHP, FPA, etc.).
  

The mission may more readily be accomplished by striving for 100% support from FAMU pharmacy graduates.
